PHOTOGRAPHER | ECOLOGIST | WILDLIFE EDUCATOR
BIO
In 2017 I graduated in zoology from Swansea University, four months later I moved to the Arctic Circle to work as a photographic guide. I spent the following 2 winters teaching people how to photograph the northern lights in the stunning Abisko National Park.
My photography work led me to start up a photographic tour company called ‘BearPhoto’, organising photo tours to Finland, in search of my favourite animal, the Brown Bear. I have since stepped down from the company in 2022.
Alongside my mate Ed, we started a wildlife & adventure content creation brand in 2020 called GoneFeral. Born out of a COVID lockdown, we began filming our local wildlife photography adventures, which gradually became less local. We’ve since released 3 series on YouTube, delivered filming & photography projects for MPB, Ford Iceland, the Save Windermere campaign and featured as part of a 10 page cover-feature on Puffins in BBC Wildlife Magazine.
In 2022 as I began working as an Ecologist on an 8,000 acre estate in my home county of Suffolk. Although a general naturalist with a relatively broad species group knowledge, I specialise in ornithology and regularly teach bird identification in the UK. I’m proud to admit I’ve been a birder since I was old enough to ride a bike!
I currently live in the beautiful and wildlife-rich county of Norfolk, where I guide nature walks, photographic workshops and bird identification walks. Please keep a close eye on the Experiences page, where upcoming wildlife photography workshops, tours, nature walks and courses will be shared.
If you would like to book my guiding services for a nature event you’re considering, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
